CALMING MASK

MASKS: Introduction

Masks provide a simple refreshing do-it-yourself skin break and if you did one a week you can’t go wrong.

But not one every day. Why not? Too much skin stripping in the removal phase and that is going to start you on the road to sensitization very fast.

Masks increase circulation as their primary benefit. The minerals and lipids exchanges with the upper cell layers also has a lot of resonance down below, going out for a few days. In a way this mask procedure resembles going out to the garden and turning over the soil.

302 Skincare has four (4) masks now, for over ten years in the professional market. We find they address the big issues for most and are proven formulas. More exotic formulas are always interesting and fun but not on our radar because novelties have narrow audiences and unpredictable outcomes. We have tweaked ours now and then to realize better results. Recently with new and effective organic hydrosols we found improvement and have incorporated them.

Read through the choices here and you will find these masks overlap somewhat, but all are distinct in their application specialty.

CALMING MASK: Introduction

For unstable skin, or just for a soothing skin treat, CALMING MASK is a best seller for a very practical reason: simplicity.

Mineral colloids and hydrosols of arnica, cucumber and chamomile provide both addition and subtraction to the skin. Additions of natural micro-chemical complexes from the hydrosols and subtraction and absorption of undesirable ionic and lipid species with the colloids.

HOW TO USE:

  1. Cleanse well with REVIVE or FACE & BODY BAR, rinse, leave skin wet.
  2. Smooth in with clean sponges. You may use fingers but sponges are preferred to keep the procedure sanitary.
  3. Around eyes (avoid eye, eyelids very lightly), and nose and along jaw line are most effective areas of application in addition to cheeks, upper lip, chin, neck, forehead and along the hairline especially.
  4. Allow 15 to 30 minutes dwell time. Eyes closed.
  5. Spritz with CALMING MIST to keep mask damp during dwell time.
  6. Rinse thoroughly with tepid water only.
  7. Rinse again. Clean, wetted wash cloth is permitted.
  8. Apply REVIVE, use as a cleanser, smooth in and then rinse off.
  9. Wait at least one hour before applying any leave-on. This will ensure your skin remains stable.
  10. If your skin feels dry and too tight, your rinse was incomplete. Repeat rinse.
